Beaver Flat 50 – Sask Landing
Muted fall colours dot an expansive brown canvas, this is the setting where physical and mental fortitude will win the day and so many broken spirits will weep under the clouds of an infinite sky. As you bound through a sea of gold and green, you will have some time to think. Some good old thinking time. You will see many things and come across many different faces. Anger, fear, disgust, happiness, sadness, surprise, contempt. Are these the faces of your competition? Maybe, but they also make up the face of your community. What are their stories? How did they get here?
And then take a minute and imagine the songs these hills would sing if they could speak of the people who came before you. Tales of determination, failure, success, struggle, survival. Tales of love and loss. Thinking and running and running and running. Don’t stop thinking and running. How many miles left? The desperate calculus. But don’t forget that your story is more than just sore legs and a sorry mind. And it’s certainly more than just you and I. Together we are making history. Together, we are reaching new heights on the prairies.
DIRECTIONS TO THE RACE
Do not go to Beaver Flat, Saskatchewan. The race is not there. The race is located at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park. Turn into the park at Goodwin House (it’s the big old grey house, which is now the park office). Goodwin House is on the south side of the river. Once you’re in the parking lot, please follow the signs to the Equestrian Campground. Do not park at Goodwin House. Race HQ is located at the Equestrian Campground in “Trailer Parking.” There will be lots of signage. Follow it!
All vehicles entering the park will be required to have or purchase and park pass.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE
6:00AM – Mandatory racer sign-in opens for all runners. This is mandatory. All runners must register and pick up their bibs and kits the morning of the race. 50K and 20K runners must register no later than 7:30AM.
7:30AM – All 50K and 20K runners must register by 7:30AM
7:50AM – 50K debriefing at start/finish line
8:00AM – Start of Beaver Flat 50K Ultra Marathon
8:00AM – All 10K and 5K runners must register by 8:00AM
8:20AM – 20K debriefing at start/finish line
8:30AM – Start of Dam Hard 20K
8:50AM – 10K debriefing at start/finish line
9:00AM – Start of 10K Trail Blitz
9:20AM – 5K debriefing at start/finish line
9:30AM – Start of Fletcher 5K
10:00AM – food and beverages available
6:30PM – Cut-off time for 50K runners
