Camping is one of the best ways to experience Lake Diefenbaker! Whether you’re packing light and pitching a tent or pulling an RV, with over 1000 campsites in this destination area, we’ve got what you’re looking for!
The three Regional Parks located in the Lake Diefenbaker destination area feature a range of varying services and activities.

Provincial Parks
There are three provincial parks located on the shores of Lake Diefenbaker. They feature tenting, serviced, and full service campsites and each park has boat access to the lake.

Danielson Provincial Park
Danielson Provincial Park is the perfect place to enjoy your summer. Danielson offers a wide variety of ways to fill your days. Danielson features large electrical and non-electrical campsites including pull through sites for large RV’s. Services include firewood and access to groceries and supplies. There are numerous amenities including modern washroom and shower facilities, drinking water, picnic area with picnic shelter and playground. There is a boat launch, fish cleaning facility and sewage disposal. Danielson is situated on a beautiful stretch of sandy beach and has access to the Great Trail Hiking trail within the park.

Douglas Provincial Park
The Douglas Provincial Park is located at the southeast end of Lake Diefenbaker. Douglas features large wooded electrical and non-electrical campsites with access to numerous services that include firewood and access to groceries and supplies, laundry facility and winter camping. There are numerous amenities including modern washroom and shower facilities, drinking water and ice, picnic area with picnic shelter and playground. There is a boat launch, fish cleaning facility and sewage disposal.

Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park
Straddling the South Saskatchewan River Valley at the west end of Lake Diefenbaker, Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park celebrates the site of the first historic crossing on the South Saskatchewan River. Popular for its fishing, sun-bathing, and hiking opportunities, it is a great area to be enjoyed by all ages. There are a number of interpretive trails and historic sites including the handsome Goodwin House, now home to the park's visitor centre, main office and interpretive centre. The boat launch is located on the north side of the lake while the main beach area, on the west side of the park, is a perfect place to enjoy a warm summer's day.

Hitchcock's Hideaway Camping Resort
Hitchcock's Hideaway is nestled on the sandy shores of Hitchcock Bay, the spacious 30amp and 50amp sites are large enough to accommodate a deck and shed, ensuring you have all the comforts of home. Sites are available for one-year or five-year rental. Fire pit and picnic tables are provided.
Access to well-maintained outdoor bathrooms, and for anglers, a fish filleting shack is on-site. Explore the rich history of Jack Hitchcock's heritage site and the serene beauty of David Greene Church, both just a short walk away from your campsite.
Families will love the sandy beach with a floating dock and an inflatable water trampoline for endless fun. Boat access and boat parking available. Boat launch access is across the bay. Plus, ample green space with two play structures for children.

Elbow Sunset Suites
These cozy RV sites are available for both seasonal or short stays. Only steps away from incredible, sandy beaches or all the amenities of Elbow, Sunset Suites are where you want to be for an action-packed summer with all the options! This park features large pull through sites complete with 30 and 50-amp service, water and sewer service, fire pits and picnic tables. You can come for the day and stay all summer!

Birsay Campground

Lakeside RV Park
Lakeside RV Park offers short stay and seasonal RV camping just a hop, skip and a jump into the incredible waters of Lake Diefenbaker and just as close to all the services of Elbow, SK. The large sites here can accommodate RVs or motor homes. All the sites are fully serviced with electricity, water and sewer, and come complete with firepits and picnic tables. For seasonal campers, there is trailer storage available for the winter months.

Loreburn Campground
The Loreburn Campground located in the Village of Loreburn is a newly built RV park a short drive from both Douglas and Danielson Provincial Parks. There are 12 fully serviced sites that include power, water and sewer hook-up. There is a new washroom facility complete with two wheelchair accessible washrooms and showers. Laundry facilities and internet service are available.

Camp Wolf Willow
The most unique camping experience you will find this summer! Camp Wolf Willow's incredible location on the South Saskatchewan River is just 15 km from Outlook. The camp features beautifully appointed solar-powered, furnished teepees on raised cedar floors, on sites equipped with firepits and picnic tables. There are also sites to bring your own tent or camper. All sites have vista views. If you are paddling the Whitecap Waterway this summer, there couldn't be a cozier stop for the night than this one!
