The Saskatchewan Heritage Coalition is a provincial non-profit organization committed to protecting, promoting, and celebrating Saskatchewan’s diverse cultural heritage. By supporting heritage organizations, museums, volunteers, and local communities, the Coalition helps preserve the stories, traditions, and places that make Saskatchewan unique.
One of the Coalition’s signature initiatives is the Key to Cultural Heritage program. Developed in partnership with the Museums Association of Saskatchewan, this province-wide program encourages people to get out and explore Saskatchewan’s vibrant museums, heritage sites, and historic communities.
When participants purchase a Key to Cultural Heritage, they help support heritage organizations across the province while unlocking opportunities to experience Saskatchewan’s history in new ways. Participants can enjoy heritage adventures, enter prize draws, discover unique cultural destinations, and share their experiences through the #SecretSask campaign and the MemoryKPR platform. Every key purchased helps preserve Saskatchewan’s heritage for future generations while encouraging exploration of the province’s remarkable communities and historic places.
Whether you’re interested in pioneer history, Indigenous culture, local museums, historic buildings, or hidden prairie gems, the Saskatchewan Heritage Coalition provides countless opportunities to experience the people, places, and stories that have shaped our province.
Unlock Saskatchewan’s stories and explore the province’s rich cultural heritage with the Key to Cultural Heritage program.
